Ulysses Failey: whatever the accord price add 1/3 to 1/2 more for the Beemer
Shad Bushweller: you can double or triple prices for any repairs just cause of namebrakes anyone can do for about 35 bucks at home or at shop prices about sameregular maintenance about same with any carstarter, suspension plus other parts double or triple prices and or labor just cause its name...Show more
Delora Struzzi: a lot more
Javier Holsonback: yes the car will last another 4 years no problem, but NOT with minimal repair costs. I have a 2002 BMW 325i that i purchased used 2 years ago with 59k miles on it. today the car has 96k miles on it. during the 2 years and 37k miles I have put about $4,000 in maintainence. That's just normal wear and tear (brakes, oil changes, a tune up, etc.) if you have to question whether you can afford the repairs or not, then the car is not for you. BMW's cost a lot to maintain and it takes a different type of person to appreciate the car and! fork over the money to fix it, without getting upset. I'm very passionate about my BMW and will not drive anything but a BMW, and I dont mind forking over my money to keep it running like the day it was first sold :)...Show more
Cecil Derenzi: It all depends how clever you are. Obviously, tires are pretty much the same. Honda parts are NOT cheap. Sometimes, they are even more pricey than BMW parts. Brake pads are about the same price-wise. The German suspension is very special and was engineered to handle speeds of 150 + MPH. Honda suspension is closer in design to American stuff. Bosch alternators and starters are easy to fix. Usually just the brushes wear out. Honda fuel injection systems are manufactured by Nippondenso under license from Bosch. Their parts are nearly identical in price. Honda's are good, to a point. When they get older, they can be an expensive nightmare. If the timing belt breaks, look at $2-3000 in repairs. Either car requires the best oils on t! he market. I prefer either Mobil One or ELF oil from France. Y! ou save money by changing it once yearly. Each car requires the use of their OWN coolants, brake fluids, steering fluids, and trans fluids. NEVER use generic junk in either car. The BMW is stronger, and would be my choice between the two. Either one is expensive to repair should you be in an accident. Mechanically, they are pretty comparable....Show more
