Brock Anwar: As you can pretty well tell every1 thinks your speakers are blown, and from the desc. I'd have to agree.Depending on your budget for speakers and stuff will depend on what you get. Def. stay away from Wal Mart, they sell crap, and you won't be happy with it.I would try and stay away from Best Buy - Circuit City, and those places, that is chain store crap, and not worth 1's time and trouble. But if you must go with the new Pioneer Priemeer component system speakers. Every1 is saying nothing but very good things about them, and the words like "BEST ON THE MARKET" at this time is coming up on alot of car audio forums.Now for subs and amps Again Pioneer Primeer, TC sounds,have some great subs. I prefer MA Audio but that is personal preference. I also like the MA Audio HK series amps. But kicker makes a very nice amp or EDNINE is great. Aot depends on what type of music, how loud and how much $$$$$ you have. Toney Flaten: Hate to tell you...your speakers are blown! The speakers were probably factory and they have been abused. You are heading in the right direction when you mentioned having a place like Best Buy to install your new equipment. They'll have the right stuff to make a good clean install. The technicians there are very knowledgeable in car audio. Sub woofers will definitely give you the punch you're looking for, and the amp is a must for rich bass. Pioneer, Jensen, Sony, these are all good starter speakers as well as amps. Play around with them and find out which ones sound the best in your car. When you upgrade your speakers...don't keep the lame factory radio installed...change it to a 4 channel deck with CD. Best Buy stands behind their work...if there's a problem down the road with an install they did, the! y will fix it for free!...Show more

Nia Monopoli: Well, i would have to hear the speakers to know if their blown or not, but it soundz like you might have a equalizer problem, mess with the equalizer untill you find the right tone and rythim u want! If you did and notice your speakers r blown, i sugest new speakers over 200 watts, "thats how mutch watts a nice car stereo has like "alpine or sony". Do you have a stock stereo or a "kool" type of stereo like "alpine" n such?? Well if you are looking for sum good "Subz" i sugest "Premiers" or "Kickers" kickers are the best, you get your moneyz worth and a good 1000 amp too for sum 12" subz...Well if you want a proffesional to install you system go ahead with bestbuy but i suggest you install them urselfe, that way you can learn how to and if theirs a problem in the future you will know how to do the diagnostics your self and not waste money again taking them to bestbuy!! Its actually very easy and fun!!! I have put ! several soundz in my car and in friendz, If you decide to put them on yourselfe you will love that feeling once you hear your trunk rattle, the inside pound and you neighbors complaining!!! youl be amazed for wat u have done!!!!! Eulah Hugill: If your speakers just play highs and the bass pops and sounds muddy, then I hate to tell you but, you blew your speakers out. Best Buy can install anything unless it requires to be cut or modified. They do a good job if it's bought through them. You can go with an Alpine setup or Kenwood or even Fosgate set up through them.
