Developing a research question about post secondary education?

Arnulfo Seegars: Many of my teaching colleagues feel that high school students are not ready for college. They have little life experience and often don't know what they want to do. Why don't you argue that HS students should work or do something like Peace Corps or Americorps before they apply to college so that they can learn a bit about life? Perhaps the entry age for college should be 21 instead of 18 unless the student has a specific career plan in mind (like medicine or law)

Raven Purl: I'm a high school student asking for homework help.Maybe I can write an essay arguing that high school students are ill prepared for college, because they lack life skills, or personal responsibility? or something... idk...

Hobert Dula: * "students lack necessary skills entering college"

Garrett Detone: Can someone help me? WTF?My hypothesis is "students lack skills entering college"and then i'll talk about how they don't have life skills, time management, proper ! study habits... etc... but idk if this stuff is good. can someone who's good at psychology, and essay point me in the right direction?...Show more

  1. Postsecondary choices are varied and may incorporate public or private universities, universities, junior colleges, profession specialized schools, professional exchange schools, places for continuing instruction, grounds progress projects, and apprenticeship programs.
