Majoring in advertising and marketing?

Nilda Bafia: Business. Some Economics, Finance and Statistics of course, but also Public Relations, Communications, and Sales.

Mandy Mustaro: Usually Marketing and Advertising is in the School of Business and they have a "business core" of subjects that must be taken in order to major in those subjects.First going to college you will need to complete the basic core of classes, some of which are:English 101,102, Humanities 105, Math (any college math) Statistics, Macro and Micro 200 courses, Psychology, Some type of communications course, Intro to Law, 300 level courses Business writing, International business, Information Resources, 300 level Economics course,and of course all the options in the advertising and marketing options.Some of these were ones required in the School of Business that I attended....Show more

Porfirio Cahall: No I didn't major in Marketing/Advertising but I do both. I enjoy the fact there is no selling of products involved with either o! f these things. In Marketing/Advertising, you tell not sell. My business is Marketing/Advertising and I love what I do because I have the opportunity to share info that can really help others. I also use the items I market/advertise. So many celebrities may or may not actually use the items they promote.
