Philosophy is active, seeking and tr! ying to discover or understand knowledge, truth, etc. Poetry, in essence, is the poet's expression of something. In many cases, this can be the expression of a philosophical perspective, whether directly or indirectly. Seeking knowledge, wisdom, truth, or anything similar in a poem is an act by the reader.
